Before tossing out that lamp, small appliance or household item, give it another chance. Repair Café returns to the Blue Ridge Community College Library on Thursday, August 20, from 3:30–6:30 p.m. Volunteer repair coaches will work alongside visitors to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of household goods, from electrical and non-electrical appliances to furniture, toys and jewelry. The community workshop is free and will be held in the Killian Building on the Henderson County Campus.
