The Ladies Aid Society of Flat Rock will revive a tradition dating to the organization’s founding in 1880 with its Silver Tea Saturday, Sept. 19, from 3–5 p.m. at Mountain Lodge, 486 Rutledge Drive in Hendersonville. Guests will enjoy tea and light refreshments while bidding on silent-auction items to support the Society’s philanthropic work. Donations may also be placed in the traditional silver tea bowl. Tea-party attire is encouraged.
