Enjoy an evening of community and music with An Evening for All Souls: A Gathering of Song and Spirit, Sunday, Oct. 26 at Kanuga. The evening begins at 4 p.m. at Kanuga Lake with a community choir workshop, followed by a chili dinner and luminaria making on the Rocking Chair Porch Lawn at 5 p.m., and concludes with a concert by musical artist Roots Grown Deep at 6 p.m., with a luminaria release on the lake at dusk. Bring your own lawn chair and/or blanket.

Cost: Concert only, $9.94; Concert & Dinner, $21.33. Location: 471 Kanuga Chapel Dr. in Hendersonville. Registration and more info at kanuga.org/events.

Evening Agenda:

4:00 PM–5:30 PM, Community Choir Workshop: All are welcome to come and learn a song that will be sung as the luminaria are released onto Kanuga Lake this evening. Join your voice with the CCLD One Voice Community Choir and others in our community.

5:00 PM–6:30 PM, Dinner and Luminaria Making on the Rocking Chair Porch Lawn: Enjoy a dinner of white chicken chili and cornbread with lemonade and iced tea; cash bar will be available. Participants are also invited to create your own personalized luminaria: you may write a name, draw a picture, or write a poem or story. Kanuga staff will be available to help you create your memory.

6:00 PM–7:15 PM, Roots Grown Deep Concert and Luminaria Release: This multi-continental ensemble includes Aditi Sethi, Jay Brown, Joel Karabo Elliott, Scott Sheerin, and Jahidi. Luminaria will be released on Kanuga Lake at dusk.
