Hendersonville Ballet

Paquita is a ballet in two acts and three scenes originally choreographed by Joseph Mazilier to music by Édouard Deldevez and Ludwig Minkus. 

Paquita is a Spanish Ballet about a Romani girl who saves the life of a young French officer, Lucien d'Hervilly.  The World Keeps Turning was choreographed by Joy Shanahan to commemorate that in our best and worst moments everything continues to move around us. A particularly apt example of this is the strength and resilience the WNC community demonstrated by coming together to support each other following Hurricane Helene.
