Curious about your family history?

The Genealogy Society at Flat Rock invites you to explore the remarkable possibilities of FamilySearch Full-Text Search at its monthly meeting on Monday, November 9, at 1:30 pm at Flat Rock Village Hall. This innovative, AI-powered research tool searches billions of digitized historical documents, including handwritten records that have never been indexed, uncovering names, stories, and family connections that might otherwise remain hidden.

Presenters Cindy Rush, Director of the Asheville FamilySearch Center, and genealogy enthusiast Allet S. Rodriguez will demonstrate how to use this powerful resource and where to find additional training and tutorials. Whether you're an experienced genealogist or just beginning to explore your family tree, this informative presentation offers new ways to bring your family's past to life. The meeting is open to members and guests.
