Film Screenings Raise Funds & Awareness For Henderson County Aquatics Facility

Support Our Swimmers (SOS) has partnered with Flat Rock Cinema to provide two screenings of “WHEN EVERYONE SWIMS” on Thursday, October 8th at 3:30 and 6:30. Q & A discussions will take place immediately following each showing. Tickets are $20 and benefit SOS’s vision of an indoor aquatics center in Henderson County.

A compilation of inspirational and insightful stories about how everyone deserves access to pools and safe places to swim, “When Everyone Swims” is the catalyst for a movement that sheds light on the often-overlooked intersection of swimming, public safety and social inequality. A 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to a top-tier aquatics facility for Henderson County and the region that supports the health and well-being of residents and visitors in the North Carolina mountains.

The Vision of SOS is to gather support and resources for building a state-of-the-art public Aquatics Center with two indoor pools - one 50-meter competition pool and one 25-yard program pool.
