Discover the expressive possibilities of intaglio printmaking in this fun and immersive two-day workshop. Using found and everyday materials, participants will design and construct their own unique printing plates while exploring texture, composition, and mark-making.

Students will learn the fundamentals of the collagraph process, including how printing plates are created, how printing inks are applied, and how a print is pulled from the plate. We’ll also touch on simple color concepts that can bring depth and life to your work—no prior experience required.

Throughout the workshop, Heidi works closely with each participant, offering plenty of one-on-one guidance to help students make confident creative decisions and develop personal imagery through printmaking.

By the end of the workshop, participants will create two original printing plates and several beautiful hand-pulled prints to take home.
