An Evening for All Souls
Sunday November 1 4pm
Join with community in an evening of singing and remembering together those who have helped form and make us. This is a unique evening of remembrance, healing, and song. Together we will honor those who have died through the power of music and community.
The evening will feature the Roots Grown Deep ensemble, featuring the CCLD One Voice Choir.
4–5:30 PM: All are welcome to come and learn a song to share when the luminaria are released onto Kanuga Lake. Join your voice with others in our community. Joel Elliott will lead the community choir.
5–6:30 PM: Dinner and Luminaria Making on the Rocking Chair Porch Lawn. Participants are invited to create their own personalized luminaria. You may write a name, draw a picture, write a poem or story. Kanuga staff will be available to help you create your memory.
A dinner of white chicken chili and cornbread will be served with lemonade and ice tea. A cash bar will also be available.
6–7:15: Roots Grown Deep Concert with Luminaria Release.
Be sure to bring your lawn chair or blanket and make yourself comfortable!
